Licensed Psychotherapist

SPECIALIZING in RelationSHIPS, ANXIETY, Intergenerational & complex trauma, and ADHD.

You might already know that you feel things deeply. Or you might just know that something isn’t working. Maybe your relationships feel disappointing, you’re tired in a way that sleep doesn’t fix, the world around you often feels transactional or you can’t quite find your place in it. It doesn’t have to feel this way.

I work with emotionally complex, often high-achieving adults who are exhausted by their own inner lives. People with anxious and perfectionist tendencies who can’t turn their brains off. Immigrants and adult children of immigrants carrying the weight of histories that were never fully named. People in the middle of a breakup or a relationship unraveling, trying to figure out what they actually want. People who suspect there might be more to their ADHD diagnosis than they’ve been told.

My background & approach

I’ve been working in the mental health field in New York City for over a decade. My approach is rooted in relational psychoanalytic therapy, which means I show up as a genuine and committed presence in the room.  I’m direct, present, and I use humor when it fits. I take seriously the responsibility of understanding you, not just your symptoms or your history, but you.

I trained at the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies and studied contemporary intersectional feminist theory at WTCI, both psychoanalytic institutes here in New York City. I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), liberation psychology, and existential approaches. I completed my master’s degree at Columbia University School of Social Work and hold a certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT.) I have additional training in AEDP for complex trauma.

My areas of focus include the intersection of trauma and ADHD, intergenerational and racial trauma, and the complexity of relationships and intimacy. I also provide clinical consultation to other therapists, with particular focus on working across racial difference and trauma-informed ADHD care.
